An employee of a thinly staffed organization recognizes that there is no formal system for monitoring the value of donated supplies for tax purposes, but didn’t want to do anything that would discourage the donations. Also the director is not interested in reporting data but would rather focus on relationships and real world impacts. This case is part of the Giving Voice to Values (GVV) curriculum.
